About Me
fia Kojo Ojal is the Founder and Managing Partner at Kojo Law Advocates. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and Post Graduate Diploma at the Kenya School of Law. She is also a registered Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.
Prior to establishing the firm, she worked in two top tier law firms as the Head of Litigation, Coastal region and Head of Debt Recovery, Restructuring and Insolvency respectively. In addition, she co-founded and spearheaded the startup and structuring of a private forensics and risk management firm where she gained vast experience in strategic business management and planning, as well as compliance audit and risk management.
With over 10 years’ experience as a legal practitioner, Afia has acted and advised clients in wide array of cases to include Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Arbitration & Alternative Dispute Resolution, Debt Recovery and Insolvency, Corporate Restructuring, Intellectual Property Law, Real Estate Development & Construction Law, Company Law, Employment disputes, Probate and Succession Law.
Apart from legal practice, Afia has an interest in humanitarian work. She has served as a volunteer for organizations such as Albinism Society of Kenya, drafted project proposals for non-profit organizations on prevention of violence against women and currently provides mentorship that aims to nature transformative leadership in girls.
