About Me
Faith is a co-founder and Partner at SOKLaw. She is an Advocate of the High Court with over five(5) years experience in legal practice. She holds a Masters in Commercial Law degree(LLM Commercial Law), a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree, a Bachelor of Education( BeD(Arts)) degree and a postgraduate diploma in law; from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University and Kenya School of Law respectively. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Law at the University of Dar es Salam, Tanzania.
She is also the Chaiperson of Private Law Department at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology(JKUAT)School of Law where she engages in teaching discourse from time to time.
Before joining the firm, Faith has rendered diverse legal services as an Associate at Rachier & Amollo Advocates. Her area of experise largely focusing on litigation and complex legal consultancy services in diverse fields including legal audits, legislative drafting, legal consultancies etc. These have been undertaken with both state and nonstate corporations including but not limited to the Rural Electrification Authority(REA), the Privatization Commission and the Water Services Regulatory Board amongst others. Recently, she is engaged with the Word Health Organization(WHO) and the the Network for Adolescent and Youth of Africa .
Besides, she has made numerous publications and presentations in both local and international forums and journals. She is a member of the Federation of Kenyan Lawyers (FIDA), the Nairobi County Devolution and Legislative Committee that advises Nairobi on Devolved governance, a member of the Law Society of Kenya and a member of the East African Law Society. She is an ardent lover of poetry, photography and swimming.
