About Me
Prisca Wambua is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, and the law firm's Managing Partner. She holds a Masters degree (LL.M) in International Economic Law (Warwick University, UK), an MBA in Finance (University of Central England, UK), a post graduate diploma in International Legal Practice(College of Law of England & Wales, UK) and a postgraduate diploma in Law (Kenya School of Law).
Prisca has over eight years' experience working and consulting for various organizations globally and as a legal practitioner. She has worked for Barclays Plc, a global provider of banking and financial services, in the United Kingdom and for XBRL Group, a Kenyan based organization specializing in project finance, venture capital and debt purchase services within the East African region. Prisca has consulted for Coventry Refugee Center, a UK based charitable organization on Human and Humanitarian Rights Law and for Frontier Advisory Services, a Kenyan based firm offering debt purchase and project finance consultancy services.
Prisca has researched, and written articles, on various contemporary legal issues including; taxation of e-commerce, Corporate governance, Capital adequacy and the collapse of banks in Kenya, implementation of Vision 2030.
Prisca's areas of practice include commercial law, corporate finance, International business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, International tax law with emphasis on taxation of e-commerce and transfer pricing, international trade and investments law, banking and securities law, conveyancing law and practice. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, East Africa Law Society and the International Bar Association.
