About Me
Mr. Mqingwana is the Managing Director of the firm and is responsible for professional and business affairs.
Mr. Mqingwana holds a Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice (AIPSA) and a Certificate in Insolvency Litigation and Administration from the University of Pretoria; a Baccalaureus Juris (B. Juris) from the University of Transkei (now known as Walter Sisulu University); Baccalaureus Legum (L.L.B) from the University of the Western Cape; Higher Diploma in Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg; Higher Diploma in Tax Law and Magister Legum (LLM) in labour law from the University of Johannesburg.
He has passed Coursework for Advanced International Comparative Law of Human Rights towards Magister Legum (LLM) at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
He is also a commissioner at the CCMA bargaining councils as well as an appraiser in terms of the Adminsitration of Estates Act. He served his articles of clerkship with Smith, Tabata, Van Heerden & Siwisa (now known as Smith Tabata Ramsey Webber Inc) in King William's Town.
He is a former lecturer of contracts law & commercial law at the University of the North West. He is an admitted Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa.
Mr. Mqingwana has a special interest in labour law, conveyancing and commercial law matters. He enjoys problem solving. He regularly attends law seminars in order to keep abreast with legal developments and to enhance his ability to deal effectively with clients' instructions.
He is a member of various professional organisations such as the Law Society of the Northern Provinces, the National Association of Democratic Lawyers, Black Lawyers Association, South African Society for Labour Law and Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa.
