About Me
Josephat became a partner of the firm in 1990 and is the firm’s Staffing Partner. Josephat was the recipient of the Human Rights Lawyer of the Year Award in 2003 and has contributed to the legal profession through his fifteen year service as a Councillor of the Law Society of Zimbabwe. He served as President of the Law Society in 2009 and 2010. Josephat is a director of a number of companies and a member of the Board of Governors of Christian Brothers College, Bulawayo. He was a technical advisor in the drafting of Zimbabwe’s new Constitution and now serves as a Commissioner of the Judicial Services Commission.
Josephat practices both civil litigation, specializing in the areas of commercial and corporate law as well as criminal litigation in the High Court and Supreme Court.
