About Me
Loubna Farage is a lawyer with a growing reputation in The Gambia and overseas. She has been representing international investors for more than 10 years. Her representation includes a wide variety of commercial contracts, due diligence, advice on compliance with local laws and application of international standards of practice in various fields. She has a well-established track record in the energy sector, particularly oil and gas. She has advised investors in both the upstream (exploration, drilling and development) and downstream (petroleum and LNG sales) market as well as in energy and power. She also provides services in general transactions, civil and criminal litigation including administrative proceedings and representation in International Arbitration disputes.
Loubna Farage studied law at the University of Leeds and undertook her bar vocational course (BVC) at the BPP Law School in London. She is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and served in various positions in the Female Lawyers Association – Gambia, of which she was also a founding member and the main Gambia Bar Association where she also served as the President from January 2013 to 2016.
